The get together is still on, as planned. Thank you Greg for cross-posting the details over here :) I do not get much time to frequent this forum, but see several familiar names here. We anticipate a good turnout and have people traveling from all over the state! Everyone in the MMMJ community is welcome.

So is this like a 2:00 start or such? Someone's sitting in the clubhouse all day?

Yes, 2pm is the start time. I thought that with some people traveling several hours to attend, an afternoon start time would be best. Several are staying overnight and others have to work until early afternoon. We have dinner planned and S'mores for around the fire, so no one will go hungry :) Some are arriving early and that is fine, I have warned them though - they may get roped into helping. (unlikely-but the warning is out there :)) As far as someone being at the clubhouse all day - that was the original plan, except that means someone gets left out....SO, maps will be available at the clubhouse all day in a flyer holder. Directions will also be posted on the door and flags/signs to follow. There are only 3 turns involved/6 miles of country road driving (less than 10 minutes time wise)

If my pain does not subside by then I may not be able to travel. I've been in close touch with my doctors, but they never move fast enough.

I don't see a clubhouse on the corner of Old 27N and Garfield?
This is not the greatest image, but its right there! See the stretch of Garfield between Old 27 and Cheboygan St......The smaller building with a grey roof. That's us. We are directly across Garfield from the big black roofed building (the township hall). Our address used to be a 27 address, but due to zoning changes we are labeled as 559 Garfield now. GPS's do not like the location of 559 Garfield yet, so saying the intersection of Garfield and 27N seems to be easier. This is not a wild goose chase, the building is there and has been there for many years :)

Woods- I'll be thinking about you, man. Hang in there. That's not a small procedure but a couple days and you're good to go.

Northerngal- I see the building- thanks for the clarification.

Best of luck man. I'm a six time heart attack beatin' motherfucker. Cardiac medicine is a damned well oiled machine, and I have nothing but gratefulness and respect for the doctors involved in my treatment.

We are down to 1 day!!

Remember: Directions will be available at the clubhouse beginning tomorrow morning and throughout the day. The clubhouse address is: 559 Garfield in Vanderbilt. (for GPS'S the intersection of Garfield and Old 27N.) Vanderbilt is exit 290 on I-75. The clubhouse is about 2 blocks off the exit ramp. The yellow arrow sign out front will say "AMCS Maps Here".

There will be neon signs at all 3 corners on the way saying "AMCS Gathering". There will also be neon pink "utility" flags about every 1/10th of a mile.

If you would like the directions ahead of time, please feel free to PM me and I will get you the directions today. (Please be patient as I am busy today doing final details for the gathering-I will try to check in a few times throughout the day)

Have a safe trip everyone and we look forward to seeing you all!!

Congrats. The people involved in cardiac care are real professionals. The field has come a long way in our lifetime. Procedures that used to put folks in the hospital for days or weeks, if they made it at all, are now routine overnight or even outpatient issues.

I'm glad for you.
