Let me rephrase--"When temps get TOO high, they cannot absorb as much co2" this is bc now the open pores want to close up to prevent too much water loss and also have to try harder to respirate and cool instead, of absorb co2, --BUT when there is abundant co2 and temps are good--the pores only open a little to absorb the good stuff--and won't lose as much water as when they have to open wide to find the co2...also why they can also endure higher temps..they are naturally evaporating less water
but yes--you can use co2 and exhaust--just cycle them--you don't want to waste that gas...

im currently using the boost bucket and it seems to be working fine for my room 3' wide 7' tall 6' long, just remember Co2 is heavier than the air in ur closet so put the hose above ur plants and it will fall into ur grow area. i run the boost bucket at the same time my lights are on with my exhaust fan running 24/7 and ive actually had damage done to some of the leaves being to close to the co2 hose so becareul keep it above ur ladies ,hope that helps and good luck

I was worried bc my exhaust is high in the room and i wouldn't want it just sucking the CO2 out before it could fall--but i may try it anyway as, like you said, it's heavier than air..but i'm also looking forward to seeing how the co2 from the nearby boiler affects them when i have to turn heat on-- I'll use a box fan to blow that air toward the intake hole...

, that's what i was say'n too--earlier--but amv says he is using the bucket while running exhaust 24/7 (i'm assuming he meant continously)...i was wondering how much of it the plants get--is it enough for results to be measurable?
