Roots were getting horrible, I just don't understand

Water was 68 degrees, being covered with O2 with plenty of bennies


I decided to say fuck it and just forget about my microbial life and ran 29% h2o2 in the res.... I know it will kill everything that I just put in there that wasn't cheap, but obviously it's not working so it was worth a shot

And in about 2 hours my roots went from brown/black slime covered to basically pearly white, I had a lot of alive and good roots they were just all matted together!!

So I think once we get adjusted and get a good week of growth in or so I will add back some voodoo juice

Have you heard of Dutch Master ZONE? I'm no expert but am nearly finished with my 1st hydro and this stuff kept my roots white from start to finish.

Yes! I have some i let a buddy borrow it though, I also have z7 but the same guy has my bottles of that! Lol I'll have to get the zone back from him cause I'm so freaking mad right now my plants look like shit and I'm so far behind schedule now





I just don't understand why they are so f*cked!! The environment is basically optimal...

68 degree water temp
76 degree air temp
Plenty of circulation and aeration
60% humidity

520 PPM

Hey brother like Diggity said that Dutch Master ZONE is great stuff that or smash them with some rhizotonic at 4ml/liter also a nice enzyme to let all the new roots turn the dead ones in to food i don't know anything about advanced i am sure they have something like that i only use canna it's got me thinking its something to do with the food as everything else looks perfect

Also just to make sure that cube is above the water right... ? as you don't want that to be soaked all the time it will really slow the growth down you need that to dry out a little and let the roots do there thing

Yeah the rock wool is about an inch or so above water in the cup, I have to have it really close that's why I got all of these issues in the first place, I took the clones from a setup where the cups were basically fully submerged and all roots were fine water roots. I transplanted and let the top dry out because I didn't fill line high enough :/


I agree with you guys and I will make sure to get the zone from Dutch master back from my buddy tomorrow. Also I work at a hydro shop so I'll go see what we have at work to help

Great idea about the enzyme, I use ZYME from The Cyco kit

Those roots are about 80% covered with water, with 10% of roots being above water outside of net pot, and 10% of roots being above water inside the net pot

Also a question about these girls, usually I'll trim quite a bit off. Trimming off the main shoots off the stalk that are under the screen. If my bottom branches produce tops that are just as big and are same height as all my other tops, should I lollipop those off? For instance on this plant the bottom branches have shot up almost as tall as the top ones

Here's a pic of them before I have them a major major haircut I just about chopped off every fucking branch on the damn thing.... I don't know what I was thinking I was extreme lollipopping lol I ok post pics of them once they recover



Oh and shout out to advanced nutrients for hooking up my garden

They gave me 4L of Sensi, 1L of overdrive, b52, big bud, bud factor X, and nirvana
