Right, because everyone in America was placing their bets on who delivered the best speech.
It was lackluster because he didnt have any new ideas and didnt explain how his old ideas were suddenly going to somehow start working...

Shit, he didnt even make promises this time around, he just spoke about *goals* and those *goals* were cut down versions of the promises he made 4 years ago.

And if you listen to the liberal newsies, yes, people were placing bets on the best delivered speech.

I said this 6 months ago, and I'll say it again call me on it later, I predict Obama will reschedule cannabis early in his second term.
if he doesn't that means he's a hypocrite. If he does that means he knew all along it was wrong to continue to jail people for weed and he was willing to play politics with people's lives and freedom. Moral of the story? Obama is a hypocrite and doesn't give a fuck about you.....just like his idiot brother Mitt Romney.

The states already are deciding.

Not to mention, you know he's full of shit, also, Romney already made it clear Ryan won't be setting the policy. And Romney has also made it clear he will never entertain the idea of legalizing MJ in any way what so ever.
Obama is interfering with the states that have decriminalized/legalized marijuana. Romney/Ryan say it is not a big issue on their ticket. There is a good chance that enforcement would be less than under Obama.

No shit, it's not a big issue on anyone's ticket.

Less enforcement is just wishful thinking.

Excelent point - they ARE deciding and those decisions are running contrary to the Fed. Ryan can say what he wishes, he is still likely to support a federal override.

You are seriously delusional if you believe that. Please stop voting, you are fucking up things for the rest of us.

No better way to encourage the tyranny of the majority than to refrain from voting.
Not exactly. By voting you simply encourage ONE majority or ANOTHER. But of course all will be well, when YOUR guy gets to hold the gun right?

If you don't like the tyranny of the majority then you have several choices to express your displeasure, vote third party. My choice is Gary Johnson, but I respect all the other choices as a big "fuck you" to the Dems and Reps. Another good choice is to write in a vote for Ron Paul, or yourself, or even Unclebuck.

Government Paul Ryan Talks Medical Marijuana Legalization: ‘Let the States Decide’

The issue of legalizing medical marijuana is not high on the priority list for the Romney/Ryan ticket. However, Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan on Thursday told Colorado station KRDO-TV that legalizing medical marijuana is a decision that should be made by individual states.
“My personal position on these issues has been let the states decide what they want to do with these things,” he said. “This is something that is not a high priority of ours.”
Colorado is currently mulling whether to legalize marijuana and residents will vote on the issue in November with “Amendment 64” on the ballot.
But Ryan told KRDO-TV not to mistake his position as support for medical marijuana, saying he “doesn’t believe” in the initiative but still fells it is an issue best resolved by the states.
“I personally don’t agree with it, but this is something Coloradans have to decide for themselves,” he added.

Still, the opinion seemingly differs slightly from that of GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney. As Huffington Post points out, when asked by a repoter in New Hampshire earlier this year about legalizing medical marijuana he reponded:
“I have the same position this week I had last week when you asked the question,” he said, before arguing fairly loosely that medical marijuana should be banned because it might lead to broader marijuana legalization, which might in turn lead pot smokers to try hard drugs.
“The entryway into our drug culture for our young people is marijuana,” Romney said. “Marijuana is the starter drug. And the idea of medical marijuana is designed to help get marijuana out into the public marketplace and ultimately lead to the legalization of marijuana overall. And in my view, that’s the wrong way to go.”
The Barack Obama administration initially signaled it would not interfere with states with medical marijuana. But federal prosecutors have since shut down medical marijuana dispensaries in California and Colorado.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
Yep. i believe him.

i believe he refers to the Obama administration's attack on state's rights ;)
You mean all the medical dispensarie raids that are initiated by Republican Federal DA's?

SHould Obama have Holder tell them to back off so Mittens can say Obama is soft on drugs and every white Republicunt can run around scared Black and Brown drug dealers will be shooting up their neighborhoods?
