Wait till you have to renew your drivers license, evidently some states are going after unpaid tickets from decades ago. If you forgot to pay a ticket in one state and then move to another, you have to settle up on the ticket in the old state before they'll renew you in your new one.
It sucks, I had a shit ton of parking tickets when I left Jersey. I hope I slip through the cracks.

HA.. I dealt with their courts too.. (different manner.. but holy chit was that place a mess.. ) Alpine is no better!
This is correct and when our local courts converted over if you were in the old system and there were conversions issues.... it should some unpaid.. people would show proof they paid... they were told sorry.. our bad..
point is.. if you deal with a gov office... save your gov. receipts till you die...
