PayPal

Ok, the other day I was paying someone 80 bucks on PayPal. I thought I had the wrong email address so I cancelled the payment, only to try to do it again and end up cancelling it again. The status of the payments on PayPal said they had been cancelled and refunded abut my bank account when from 80.00 to -225.00 and it's been four days and stupid PayPal hasn't done anything about it. I emailed them but I don't have a phone right now. Do you think that my bank would be able to kill PayPal for me and get my money back or do you think the person I was sending the money to just took it. The person I was sending the money to said they don't have it but I don't know what else could explain what happened.

It generally takes a few days for them to return your money. I think 3-4 days is typical. But you should be dispute the charge with your banks if paypal doesn't get on the stick.

LAst time i used paypal they always quoted 5-7 working days for any bank transactions.
Ok thanks. All of this occurred on the fourth but I guess the weekend doesn't count as business days so I guess I should freak out. I can always get my bank to get it for me if they dont fix the problem soon. I just don't like having my account sitting 200 bucks in overdraft.

Call them on the phone. They always answer and they are really pretty responsive to customers. Emails have a much longer response time. If you get them on the phone they can fix things immedistely. I have had to call them in the past and they have always taken care of my problems right away.
edit: oops I didn't see the "no phone" comment. still...try to call, much better

they suck, I keep it down to items under forty bucks usually. Anything beyond that is a risk. I bought a brand new t5 fixture and it showed up shattered, UPS said they handled it with care and the guy I got it from 'didnt check the box' before shipping it out, so paypal didn't do shit. I was just out three hundred bucks.
