what's up riu smokers and growers, this is my first grow and i'm using a pc case. I'm using 3-2700k and 1-6500k cfl's. Here's a pic of my pc case:

today july 11, 2010 is the 2nd week sassy has been flowering. I'm trying to determine if sassy is a girl. My first plant baby was a boy(which sucked like hell)! Can anyone tell me what sassy is? Here are some pics of sassy:

This plant is a sativa & looks somewhat stressed on top of it? What are your temps & your light cycle? I'm not seeing any signs of sex yet dude.

Day 24 Flowering: July 21, 2010

Sassy has been flowering for over 3 weeks, here are some updated pics to help me determine if Sassy is female. Tell me what you think.

I cant really tell, i see things that may be pistils and things that may be balls. It's not really flowering heavy enough yet to tell for sure, could be both.

Thanks V, it was difficult to get pics of the pistils but Sassy definitely has pistils. I can now say Sassy is a GIRL!!!!

Think about taking a couple of cuttings off her now if you can. Means you can ensure future females without paying $20 a pop for the seeds.
I see the pistil in the 3rd pic looks a bit frazzled at the end and they usually don't go brown that quick, she's still only preflowering yet so you may have a bit of a heat issue going on. Those tops are going to grow another 2 or 3 inches closer to the light before they are done so it might be worth trying to cool things down a little more now if you can.

Thanks for the advice V, I removed the fan I had in front of my pc case which helped with bring the temp down! Also I had 1-6500k and 3-2700k bulbs in my pc case. I replaced the 1-6500k bulb and now I have 4-26w (2700k) bulbs, my temp is 76 with the lights on and humidity is 42.

Not only is SASSY a women, she is a whole lotta sativa. Your gonna have some fun growing that in a pc case for sure. Sativa flowering can take forever, and they usualy stretch like a mother for the first couple of weeks in flowering. I hope you have some tie down measures for future use :) Other than that, congrats on your baby girl. I hope you can raise and nurture
here into some great smoke :) Good Luck Brotha!

Hey Potologist, thanks for checking out Sassy! I'm so excited about my first grow and I had to LST her ass to death but she got a lot of bud sites:) It's the 4th week of flowering for her.

Dude that is a great LST job & she is comin along nicely for you. The only thing I can say that's bad right now is that she might be a little hungry for nutes. She's a little pale & I see some yellowing leaves that you are gonna lose soon. She needs to be a little darker green color to really be happy. Get something high in N & P, preferably organic, & give her a good recommended dose. Use some molasses too. 1 tbsp/gallon in your nutrient solution. Good luck!

Hey Rombomb420, thanks for stopping in and checking out Sassy. I gave her nutes and Sugar Daddy on July 19, her next watering will be with nutes. Now is Sugar Daddy a substitute for Molasses because that's what I use?
