Only a $250 increase with all that? Damn you must have better rates than me! I pay $0.1794 per Kwh here after I get to tier 2 which is almost immediately.
My rates are prolly the highest around.
I just got in my electric bill a few days ago. It was $330.00 for 2900 kh used. The basic energy charge was $135.00 (.0465 per kh used) the rest is all bull shit fees,surcharges,taxes and fuel adjustment charges. But I'm not complaining since I have to cool a 2 story home (2800sf) and run my hot tub all the time.
I could probably get away with a few more lights with only a slight increase.
