pc grow box, suggestions anyone?

Friends tell freinds and there friend tell antoher friend and maybe someone will here like there pairents lots of factors. The reason why the dea would come to your house is not because you have a couple of plants they will try and find out your big dealer or whatever. If your where trying to keep it away from a room mate then why not get a lock on your door. I wasnt saying that pc grows suck but why not grow a nice big plant if you can thats all man.

i would love to grow a nice BIG plant but i cant, it is locked up in a cabinet and its my rents that im hiding it from not a roommate, i see what ur saying but i use a pc box cuz its either that or nothing. id rather have to try and manage a small plant than no plants at all lol

haha yeah i def agree with u on that one man, i dont tell anyone about it except my 2 best friends and they wouldnt tell a soul cuz they r benifiting from my plants too .

For shure dude its better than nothing at all. Just try to keep the smell down when there budding im shure your rents would have no clue.

yeah theres only 2 openings for my fans but im gonna tape a sheet of carbon fiber material over each fan vent and cover up all the minor leaks with electrical tape right before i start flowering but i just planted the germinated seeds yesterday so i wont have to worry about that for about a month or so

one thing i would recommend is to super crop you should cut off the tips and bend branches during flowering like 2nd week of flowering..... by cutting tips off you will get the plant to be bushier instead of getting long during flowering but some strains you just cant help it.....so i would be diligent about tying down branches it will also help with maximum light usage to each nug..... and with bending and snapping branches to get huge knots you will get thicker nugs that are more dense so that you will have bowls that dont smoke in one hit.... cool that you are growing but id spring for some hps lights and do a closet grow much heavier yields

id love to have a grow closet but until i get my own place im gonna have to stick with the pc box, i know all about low stress training but i didnt know that ur supposed to cut the tips too. do u cut the tips of each individual branch or what?

no i was using a shitty thermometer cuz i didnt have money to buy a digital one and everytime i planted sprouts they would pop up out of the ground and then stop growing, i guess because it was too hot(this happened like 3 times in the past week and a half). i got a digital thermometer the other day and it turns out the box was right around 92 degrees and the piece of shit thermometer i was using said it was only about 85 at most so i moved the pc for better ventilation and installed an extra exhaust fan and its now at 84 degrees with only 1 26 watt cfl, that should be enough to get 2 sprouts going but idk what im gonna do about the temp because i know if i turn on more than one bulb that the temp will be higher than 86...... sorry for not updating recently, iv been frustrated with this whole temp situation. i cant wait for winter to get here so i wont have to worry about it anymore. will post pictures tomorrow if i can
oh yeah and i was gonna ask... do u think the temp problem might be because i dont have the entire box lined with foil or would that have nothing to do with it?
and i was also thinking about buying a 50 watt hps bulb for my box, i didnt know u could use them for vegging and flowering (107 lumens/watt=5350 lumens), iv been reading up on them for the past couple days...

these r the 2 bulbs i was looking at getting, Medium Base. 50 Watts/4,000 Lumens. 24,000 Average Hour Life or maybe 70 watts/6700 lumens

I think that's temp thing is one of my major problems as well. I have 1 26w and 2 13w but the temps are above 80. the thing with hps is the heat and in your situation I would stick to cfl u less you can keep the heat down.

im also pretty sure you will need an external ballast for the hps.
