PC GROW CASE....help noob here.

Hi noob here I'm currently going to start my first PC grow case. i already know how to build one and what i need. i want to start growing lowryder because of the size. and someone on this site told me is best to go with soil when doing a PC grow. but here's the issue, when dealing with soil i don't know what what are the measurements of water and nutes that should be given to the plant, i also don't know when it should be watered and when it shouldn't. i need to know the process of feeding the plant and how its done...........any help would be appreciated. thx in advance.

Keep the pots in those little water catcher basins. Water them until you have slight runoff and then not again until the pot is light...4-5 days later. Dont use nutes for the first few weeks and then when you do, start them at no higher than 1/2 the recommended dosage.

Boneman pretty much just told you what you need to know. If your not sure if the plant needs watering stick your finger in the soil a good ways down and if its not moist then it needs to be watered. You will get the hang of how often your plant needs water after a little expirience, just be careful not to OVERwater them as many 1st time growers do.

Note as well, Lowryders (and all autoflowers I have tried) are very nute-sensitive. I use hydro nutes at approx 2/3rds of the MINIMUM strength given, and water at least once in between nutes. I also dont give nutes at all before they show sex.

Try to plant them in as large a pot as possible, but remember if you do so, do NOT saturate the pot with water until the plant is well established as it'll waterlog.

Remember that the plants will suck up water faster than nutrients (in general) and so will often only show nute burn when its drying out, so keep an eye on them for the smallest signs of nute burn and be prepared to flush.
If your soil is well draining, This should be pretty easy.

Only problem with autoflowering strains IMO, is any minor (or not) stress in the beginnings of their life will severely stunt growth due to the short/non existent vegetative growth period.

Good luck! :)
