I've only had to water twice a week on all my grows, even my cab I built.

On a side note, she's going to eventually find out - just letting you know. It's only a matter of time. Just yesterday, a guy's wife found out and he had to tear it all out to please her - and the day before I was telling him she'll eventually find out. So, just be prepared.

Also, about scrog - I really don't like the screen. I've had better success with lst. The screen holes are just too small and I broke branches with adjusting trying to get them through.

Hopefully she won't, but I'll be prepared for the mother of all nagging sessions if she does!

oh man it's not worth it. no way. The feeling you're gonna give her when she opens that box up and realizes you completely deceived her...aint worth smoking your own product. It's overrated. My girl has always firmly believed that I shouldn't smoke and sure as hell shouldn't grow - It took several years to get her on board with me smoking without having a fight each time...couple more to convince her I could grow without interfering with our life - I know the feeling of wanting it so bad but being stuck in a position where something much more important than a recreational drug gets in the way. It was a hell of a struggle - I'm talking break my shit when she found out I got high, even if I told her it was gonna happen. She would literally start smashing my things and throwing things at me, hit me and shit - she REALLY didn't like it...but now I'm growing in our basement n she even bought me a grow light for my birthday lmao. I honestly think you'd be better off just waiting until you can convince her than hiding it man...It sucks and it's not fair, but neither is lying to your partner...

I'm not trying to preach to you, and I'll admit I've hid a thing or 2 in my time, but I truly think you'll regret that decision. Just my 2cents. Hope you find a good solution.

I don't think that the carbon filter on there will be enough to hide the stink. It's usually just a piece of carbon mat over the exhaust fan. Even my vegging plants can outstink that when I move them around a little. Even if you yield .25 oz then it's worth the fun.

Your not preaching, just giving me the benefit of your experience, and I'm grateful for it. Sometimes in life I just know the truth when I hear it, like right now. I wont be going ahead with my little project. I often wonder why people make a moral issue out of smoking a little dope, for me its a public health issue not a moral one. I hope I live to see the day when Cannabis is taken out of the hands of ruthless criminals, so decent, productive and law abiding citizens like me can make our own minds up, but here in Ireland that day is a long, long way off. Thanks for taking the time to reply, I hope you and yours have a merry Christmas.

However, I have a suggestion... Sure you could get a vortex fan and carbon scrubber for 100+ dollars, but say you have a small plant going with 1/4 oz - 1/2of primo buds.. You don't need all of that air filtration. What I have found is a happy medium..

Go to walmart and look at the air filters. There is one that is $15 that may work. I have a holmes that I paid $40 for. These work well enough. They work even better if you take apart the filter and add in a layer of carbon used for fish tanks. I run this in my veg box for two reasons. 1) it controls any stink when I top or mess with my plants and 2) It moves major amounts of air to keep my box cool..

Just find a way to attach to your box using duct tape or something to create a seal.
