PC grow help.

Im doing a pc grow and im going to grow G13 pineapple express autoflowering. I need to know what lights i should get CFL or HPS. My case size is 21" tall 8" wide 18" long. I cant seem to find a light that will fit other then CFL. So i would like to know If i do CFL what Lights do i need to get. If i do HPS where can i find one that will fit? Any help would be great.

For an auto flower with CFL's I would get 2 2500k for every 1 6500k cfl.. So for example if you want 6 lights in there get 4 2500k cfls and 2 6500k cfls.

You will never,ever,ever get a HPS light in a PC case and be able to vent enough to sustain life. and if you could it'd cost so much its not worth doing it in a PC case.

Go with 2-3 23-13 watt CLFs. They work perfect in my case with 2 3" fans exhaust and one intank it stays about 81 in day and 68 at night. Watch your temps tho. Seriously with one 3" exhaust a single 23 watt CFL can bring PC cases well over the 90's CFLS don't make much heat but in a small space they are just as deadly as HPS.

Yeah i didnt think i could do a HPS.. So go with CFLs then is it best to do 4 lights or get one big bulb or does it really not matter?

Whatever heat allows. Start small and watch the temps, add lights if you can.

What about the 2700k and the 6500k all in one bulb or should I just get 3 2700k and 1 6500k cfls?

As stated, get a few and see what your temps are. Add more if you can keep your temps down

CFLs are great because if one fails you can go to a local store and pick up another and they're cheap.

Thank you all for all your info and help. I will be making a new post in a few days with my setup (just bought a house so I'm moving atm). I'm going to buy 4 2700k and 2 6500k and add one at a time till I get the temp right. I have 3 120mm fans in there now so I hope they can keep my temps down.

I can tell you right now that 6 bulbs are not going to work in a pc grow. First of all it will be too hot! Second the plant will not fit in there with six bulbs. I have 3 in mine and it is borderline too hot and definitely cramped. Unless you plan on wasting money on hooking ac up to it. If you plan on that you should just make a bigger box. Imo

I recommend 100w full spectrum cfl at home depot its only 8 bucks and has all the red and blue light you need in one bulb
