Pc grow idea !!!

okay well i sealed the front and back off today i cut out some sheet metal to fit and caulked them in and screwed em down so haha no light leaves the box ( i threw a light in there to check) and i mounted the power strip inside on the back wall and ran the cord out so now i have power in the box next, i can go to ways here now, add the false wall 3 inches from the back to seperate the grow from the mechanics of it or i can leave it alone.... with the wall the grow area is 12"L x 7 1/2W x 15"H roughly .6sqft
so you guys were rite to smash the dream of 150watter lol oh well no big now we get to play with new ideas , i looked at a 100w and also a 70w both for complete kit bout 40 bucks so no big or i can throw one of my 68w cfls sooo... now we got to play with that idea 100w is bout 9500 to 10000 lumens or 70w at 6300 lumens or the 68w cfl 4200 lumens so what yall think and i found a perfect screen to fit if i build the wall in there itll double as where i can start em out close to the light and when there big enough train them thru it sooo ... what yall think

0.6sq ft is a pretty small space, yields will be pretty meagre even when it's all dialled in.
The height means you will prolly be better served by using the hps. I think 90w would be a little too much in that space so I'd prolly combine the 70w hps with 12 - 18w of 6500k cfl to provide a balanced light spectrum. They also emit a little UVB which will help.

well haha changed it up a lil bit i figured screw the whole every thing inside so now the power strip is on the outside mounted on the back and i measured out my 68 watter will fit and maybe two or three 26 watters so idk well see as i said its not as long as i origionally planned for bout 9 inchs shorter soo, i added up without the wall and itll still only be .78 sq ft so itll be a challenge its really not about yield its mainly jus wanting to grow in some thing different ill prolly be investing in a small hps for the closet or another cab so well see my goal is anything over a half oz which i think its doable for sure so

My rig is .99sq ft and it knocks out about 21g of dry bud every 3 weeks so you should be able to hit your target easy enough. Use one of the training techniques like LST or scrog to get the most out of it.

every three weeks, so you go 12 12 from start? and what strain do you have that finishes that quick ill order it for sure lol i was planing to do scrog/ topping method and prolly 2 plants max i could go a small sog grow i have tons of 3 inch pots and 6 fit fine 7 is a really tight fit what do you think

12/12 from seed using any 80% indica genetics works out about right. I'm using CH9 Jack fems ATM but they can be a bit leggy for a pc grow. In your space you would have more luck with a strain called Ice Cream.
You can just about get by with 1 litre of soil and generally I have 4 in there at a time, all with a 3 week gap between them. I have a little 6500k light at 1 end to help the babies veg and then they all go under the main light for the last 9 weeks or so. Every time I take 1 out I put another seedling in.
Works like a charm

oh okay so your basically running a makeshift perpetual grow then i like that idea lol the way im mounting my lights now its gonna be adjustable also so i think thatll help along the way

alrity alot has changed on it from the get go due to not getting the box i wanted but hell cant beat 10 bucks , but its pretty straight forward when i get the grow goin ill do a full build up on this thread then continue it as a grow journal also ..... its basically strip it down , seal it up hang the lights and mount the fans and itll be golden...

yeah i love this video lol , thankya well one of my buddies brought some shit seeds for me im not gonna complian ill push em thru a few grows in the box so i can dial it in she brought a lil sample of the weed they came from and its defiently from a either someone who couldnt grow, or a huge commercial grow lookin for some profit it looked shitty but smelled awesome, my guess it was a herm plant that wasnt dries and cured rite, half of the seeds are the underdeveloped lime green ones , and under a led it had crystals in it but defiently handled by monkeys so ill be seein what itll do when takin care of rite

hey man, i did a little experiment in a pc a little while back using a 70 watt hps. I think any bigger and you are going to have issues man. And if you do get enough ventilation, your going to end up having to water your plants like twice a day. I started mine with 2 pc fans, one out and one in. I used a plexi glass sheet as a cool tube also...ended up drying everything. To keep enough moisture and also temps down i had to only use the one outake at the top.
