It is what it is. Wrong audience for the truth.
That audience being patients who are suffering while these LPs produce garbage and over charge. Yet they feign compassion. That audience? Fucken ignorant little shit. This is a PATIENTS forum. Not a corporate cum guzzlers forum

Why dont ya disappear again and not come back this time. Your point of view holds no weight or respect here for that matter. Which you have become rather adept at displaying through your lack of intelligence and wherewithall.

@oddish
please back up those statements. Easy to say you did all that.
What company..tested where and by whom....who paid you to do this.
C'mon now. I'm offering you the chance to at least prove some of that.
It seems your everything at times.
But what are you really.

Please don't misunderstand though, I smoke this stuff all the time and have no concerns about it.
I like to think the fire purges most of it, but to those that think just because someone didn't meet the MMPR spec they have huge problems.. that's not always the case. I would be shocked beyond belief if any Compassion Club had a single strain that met the MMPR spec.
now you have me curious because places like BC Compassion club and Green Cross say they test for molds, heavy metals pesticides etc. those are the ones I would go to. i also like Karuna but i don't know if they test.
doesn't surprise me though...just sucks to get all that crap but i guess I have been doing it for years.

Full transparency it is. I have nothing to gain here by lying to you - I wanted it to be all rosy and good too.
  1. I don't work for anyone now, but I used to consult for a group of MMAR people trying to become an MMPR. Every single person involved except the RPIC came from the MMAR. The idea was that instead of whining about it, they were going to help solve the problem through the action of actually applying for an MMPR license. That is still not granted and they're still waiting, but I no longer have anything to do with it. Venture capital got involved and it's no longer an MMAR to MMPR operation and I want nothing to do with what they're doing now.
  2. We didn't test anything from the big BC compassion clubs - they were never an option. We tested 2 different dispensaries from BC, but neither one made the cut. Please read carefully here: we were testing against the MMPR standards. These are microbial tests that are borderline insane. To meet the doctors demands, we had to meet the Health Canada demands. To meet the Health Canada demands you basically need to grow in a test tube. I am not suggesting the medicine was bad, useless, moldy, etc. The reality is that we had a standard to meet and they didn't meet it.
  3. Hippy - I don't remember the names of the places to be honest. One of them was Steep Hill Lab, but we mostly used them for the THC/CBD tests. The microbial tests were done in Oakville and somewhere in Newfoundland. We had an independent microbial expert test some stuff locally, but he wasn't able to identify all specific elements once he found them.
  4. I have been inside the doors of 9 different MMAR grows in Ontario, 2 outside of Ontario and 2 in Colorado. 1 of the Ontario ones had remotely good air filtration, movement and security while the others had nothing but a sheet of plastic or open air between the plants and the outside air entrance. These grows were all MMAR and all supplied dispensaries or clubs.
  5. I am a patient by some standards, maybe not by yours. I use the product for personal issues (of which I have many), but I also use it recreationally because why the fuck not? If you think recreational use is an issue than I choose to politely disagree - the plant shouldn't be restricted from anyone to use however they want to use it.
  6. I do not work in this industry. I work on cars and that's my passion. I came into this industry because I wound up helping some people out, becoming a designated care giver and eventually wanting to help some people fix the system any way they could. I can honestly say I haven't made a penny and I lent out more money than I will ever see in return. The list of MMAR people that owe me money but can't pay because they stopped selling to stay "clean" for the application process is a substantial number. I don't care - this wasn't ever about the money.
I no longer care what anyone else thinks. I don't have time to sit around and wonder if people want to know the truth or would rather I sugar coat it for their pseudo realities. I understand that almost everyone here is a patient and I have all the compassion and understanding in the world. I tried to do my part to help change the system and I got fucked like everyone else. If you hate me because I don't bitch about the LPs all day than so be it - nothing I can do about that.

I hope you all stay well and that the MMPR doesn't fuck you over, but I think we're past the hopeful stage and into acceptance.

Thanks for asking gb. I wish I believed you were sincere.
She passed away about 5 days after I started the thread. They couldn't do anything for her so they sent her home. She went downhill fast and then passed away in her sleep. I think she had maybe tried 4 capsules - most of it was just to ease the suffering and attempt to build an appetite.

terps...the new stop and smell the roses....
I can see the line up around the block to smell my patch...5 bucks a sniff
and if the neighbours complain about the smell.....remind them of what they are getting for free
Thanks again guys....lends credence to the fact some of us have been doing our own research
with this plant since early 1970's....
