Well you can build a cloner for probly around 30-40$ less if you have some stuff kikn around. And I enjoy DIY stuff. so theres nothing lost there.
everyone has different success and failure rates at every method they try. I dont expect a 100% success rate outta clones. but im probly at 80% easy enough.
Im not sure how your spossed to get "good" at cloning, its not rocket science, cut, dip, stick. how hard is that? people biggest problem is they expect roots in 3 days, sometimes it takes longer, depends on what part of the plant you cut, how "woody" said stalk is, overall health of the plant etc, etc. etc....
just show a little patience, clones arent going to show the growth that a plant will. Tho my last couple i put in a bubble cloner never missed a beat, always perky, looking towards the light, remained green the whole time, and now they are great plants.....
* I have NO fancy equipment. The only Tech I have is a cheap Milwaukee Ph meter, probly $20. a friend gave it to me.
2 air pumps, one for my coffee can DWC (one of the previous bubble cloner clones is in now), and 1 bubbles my water (bad chlorine in our tap water here).
