No FED is going to bust a wimpy personal homegrow that is not what earns them bonuses.. they wanna find houses with 600+ plants. not 12, Police will do that due to a complaint by neighbor. Depending on the state of course, Here in cali.. someone could snitch walk up to a cop and give them all my info telling them I grow tons and tons of pot(lying obviously). Before the cops could take any action they would have to spend weeks to months watching my residence for traffic & such.

Santa Cruz PD doesn't really investigate growing. They have a gang unit that will investigate gang members growing, but if the only thing you're doing is growing, you don't really have anything to worry about there.
