... well a majority of us are my family is so well intergrated that when i was born they couldn't figure out what the hell i was. a lot people would think that makes me sexy an unique when everyday of my life i'm still me i can only speak english with a little spanish an japanese but that doesn't put me anywhere near special. this tread is my response to racial profiling, racism an people that take their heritage to the head a little too much. everyone in this country since the end 19th century has more than just white an/or black in their blood.

Never ask a white person "what they are"... you'll get 50 different ethnicities that add up to 99/100... and they'll never reveal that 1.

Because that 1 percentage is the DEVIL! :lol:

i'd tell my 50 ethnicities if if i knew what those other 49 were.

That is the beauty of the States. Soon it will spread and eventually we will all look the same (not a bad thing). Time magazine did an article where they had a supercomputer cross all known races and produce a picture of what the future race will look like

I'm mostly German and irish. Then polish (ironic...), spanish, and navajo indian (spanish and indian is pure mexican if I recall...)

So I'm allowed to rag on any race except for the brothers... but those my peoples so it's fair game :lol:

How do you not know what you are? I mean...were you adopted? That's the only scenario I can see where you don't know. Do you not know where your family came from? Yeah, there's probably so much mixed in I wouldn't think you'd know every %, but...myself for example, when people ask, I generally just say Mexican/Italian. But I know I also have Filipino, French and the list goes on.

I'm just confused as to how your family "couldn't figure out what the hell you were." Unless they didn't know who your parents were...? Huh?

well after lookin up family records, talkin to my grandparents an my only great-grandparent an observing some of my traits i'm a mix of black, asian (possibly japanese), irish an a wee bit of latino.

im a quarter greek and probably a dozen other ethnicities

rather than saying im X% this and X% that id rather just admit to being 100% pure blooded american

Most Americans under 50 only put themselves in a category of their state. "I'm from Florida originally" or "I was raised in California" as far as tracing back ancestors we rarely know the truth. I am just a boring white chick. I don't have a classification but fortunately I can use the term "Caucasian" to sum it all up when it comes time to answer race questions.
