all these classifieds sites...... why the fuck to people advertise something when they don't want to deal?

i found a product on cl i was interested in, and made arrangements for the trade. after preparing everything and waiting on the call to meet this person, they decide to stand me up. pick up the phone and hang up, the whole nine.

ONE WEEK LATER......

i find the exact same product on cl, this time for sale. after contacting the sellers, i find this IS the product i'd already claimed and arranged to trade! now the person selling is pissed at me, because he got screwed in the deal and wants 100$ more than what i'd already agreed to spending.

wtf? people are fucked up. i wish there was some kind of test people had to pass in order to exist and coexist with others.

geeeeeeeez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol, or when you contact dealers and they say they will call/ txt you back, and then you don't hear from them until a week later lol....

had a similar problem when I was looking for a bike. I spent months looking and found at least a dozen people that really did'nt want to sell their bikes. wtf? why post it up if you aren't interested in selling. If you want to show it great, but don't offer it up and then change your mind. pisses me off.

exactly. or better yet; lets say you find the bike of your dreams, and you make a deal with the seller. they fall out on you, but a week later, you find an IDENTICAL bike owned and posted by someone else. after some q's and a's, you find it IS the bike you wanted, and you got screwed out of the deal. not only that, but the new owner got screwed too, so he wants YOU to pay the difference because HE fucked up and paid too much.

is there any way to flag or report craigslist abuse cases like this?

This is why I am DONE with CL.... Bunch of goofs on there! I have never have success with it, never. From trying to get a job to renting an apt. It is all games. I don't get why people go through the trouble of posting an ad and then never answering the emails on the ad! Makes no sense!! And, it is the same for yard work! I see loads of ads for landscaping, I emailed probably 20 of them. Well, I only get one response, and he no shows!!!
