When a sprout becomes big enough to have at least three or four nodes, I would prefer to top it. I would then let the two crowns grow out of that just barely, and almost imediatley pull those two crowns down when they are big enough. (You might need to tie them down to ensure they stay the way you want them to). At the same time you pull these two over you want to top the new crowns again (which encourages growth to the rest of the plant). After two more crowns pop out of each of those crowns you already topped, then you pull those new crowns over (in differ directions) and then top it again. The more you repeat the process the bigger the bush gets. The less you do the process, the less of a bush you get and more of strait up plant you will end up with. When you are ready to let your bush grow strait up and flower you cut the strings and let them go wild! IF THIS INTERESTS YOU THEN STOP BY MY SIGHT AT gdp808 I HAVE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR GROWS. MAYBE WE CAN LEARN FROM EACHOTHER.
