Any ideas to get fatter nugs? Donkey Butter is fun but i need to do something about the stretch next run.
I have a low ceiling height and 6 1000w bulbs, all open. I see a my girls stretch quite a bit; not uncommon to see the occasional 10+ " node spacing. I was taught to flip to HPS and max light output first day of flower. Would it be wise to run only 4 MH bulbs until week 2 or so of flower and then flip the bulbs to HPS and all 6 lights?
It seems like a combination of light spectrum and heat in early flower that can cause high stretch. Anything would be a great help, if i could save some canopy height it would help the health and overall final product.
PS - white balance was corrected with camera, the plants have HPS light.
