I've been working down to 12/12 30 min a day. Three more days and I'll be at 12/12. Then I'll switch to the 1000w de hps. I'm pulling out the poinsettias soon.
OH! Good news. I'll put this here, since there are only about three people that are going to read this. HLG got back with me, and they are going to send me a prototype led light to run in the competition! So, that's fucking awesome. I'm going to use it in the SIP tent. They said that what they are sending me will bloom a 5x5, so that's exciting. I'll be doing a thread on it.

I tried that once, by an hour a day, but I was a newbie and was doing so much random stuff I don't know if it did anything or not LOL. What are you hoping for? Slower flowering so they get fatter? Faster flowering?
Watching and waiting for your impression of the results.

Cool about the light. Can you let your person know that I am also in the competition and I run HLG exclusively? :) ​

The Sky Lotus tent is looking fit to explode real soon. Nice, healthy plants.

It'll be real cool to see that hlg light going...as one of the 3 people who follow, I'll have a front row seat. :bigjoint:

All I know is that it is a prototype, but I'm stoked. It would be badass if it is a double Elite 360 rig, or something like that. Maybe 550 v3?

I wouldn't be surprised if they have some far red diodes, that seems to be the thing now with LED grow lights.

Hey - I apologize.

I was cruising through the dynagro website to make sure I understood the nutes (cal-mag or mag-pro, mix one thing first always, etc.) and I saw the link to the contest and thought it was cool. Then I saw this:

And realized the possible conflict of interest or how it might appear. I don't give a hoot about "sips" but it looks cool, but I was interested on the flipping-timing thing. Tell me after the contest.

Not that any of that has anything to do with this thread, but, I can see how some people would completely freak out over that. I don't see how it can be though, with the players voting on the winners. It's pretty simple, I was hosting a competition by myself. RIU won't let you have a competition or contest with prizes if you are only a member. So, Dyna-Gro picked up where I had to stop. It's the same competition, only Dyna-Gro is hosting it instead of me for it to be legit on RIU. I don't give a hoot about what people think about it either, really.

I took a clone of each last night. I used rooting powder and stuck them in dirt. Sharp eyes will count 7. One is a Purple Urkle clone for a buddy.

That Ditch Weed looks like :fire:.

I started my new set of seeds today. All into rapid rooters in those 2 ounce party cups. From Cannarado I have Nilla Wafer, Kitchen Sink and Sundae Sunset. From Dankonomics I have Ghost Cake and Triangle Cake. And Arcata Skunk from Cannaventure.

Should be something good out of that...started 2 of each.

I'm trying something on these. The ones in the front I am going to defoliate through bloom, the three in the back I am not. Put a pretty good size chop on the front three. We'll see if it has any difference on yield. Truth be told I'm too lazy to get back there to prune the back three, so I came up with this test as an excuse.

Every time I’ve done the plants with the most foliage yielded better, not much but still abit. Really healthy garden you have there bro
