Nice. I kinda figured, that's the way everyone has been going... supplementing white led with far red.

That's a pretty badass light. Can't wait to see it in action.
Wow, and some UV strips, too!
That makes two of us.
The only thing that sucks is I just changed all of my ventilation over for summer. I'm going to have to change it up quite a bit again now. Oh, well. I have about a week at least to do it.

I didn't even see the UV...that is interesting.

This was a really informative video. I like your approach to nutrients, I definitely feel like starting low and working up is a solid methodology. I've learned the hard way that it's easy to dial up your nutes, but you can't take 'em back.

I ran into a hellacious K issue in my outdoor plants last year. Due to the prevalence of the cal-mag diagnosis, that was the tail I chased for a while. When the problem stuck around, I started digging deeper and found that by adding more (too much) calcium, I was causing K to get locked out, thereby exacerbating my problem...in fact, I was the cause of my own problem by adding cal-mag when it wasn't necessary from the jump. By that time the damage was done, but I was at least able to halt the progression by cutting cal-mag entirely from my regimen. The lesson I learned was to be careful about what advice you follow and to do more independent research.

Plants are looking good, they've definitely filled out that tent.

Great insight from both of you cheers, "calmag deficiency " is up there with "looks fine to me" as most problematic answers to genuine requests for help. Great idea to run the parallel comparison. Keep it up BP

HAhahah, that's true. 'looks good to me, I wouldn't worry about those leaves bending in so hard they are touching the stem, probably strain related'. (curl)
Holy shit, that reminds me. I was being sarcastic but it is also a true story. Not too long ago on here there was someone running a journal that said their massive N excess was strain related. The leaves color was in the black spectrum and they had inches of curl. They said all of his buddies run the same strain and they all look like that. It was a pretty good read, I'll find it if you are interested.

There should be a button similar to "like" which would be " ? " Just to give the poster a hint at the poor advice they've been given (You know if you actually type a reply you'll get sucked into a shit/dumbfest)

Ditch Weed (Auto)
Home made soil
Water only

Day 83 Chop
It's about damn time. I have to admit it smells amazing. Like key lime pie. I think my soil did pretty good. I neglected this plant to the extreme.

Day 101
After the last update I got the microscope out to check the trichomes and they were all clear. So I threw it back under the light and forgot about it a few times again. Tonight I pulled it back out and figured it had to be done by now. I was checking with the camera and decided to record the whole thing. They are starting to amber up, so I'll try to chop it tomorrow. It still smells like key lime pie. I think my soil did pretty good for 101 days and nothing but non ph'd tap water.

damn that's a HQ vid!
Thanks man. The only thing I don't like is at that zoom everything it super shaky. I wasn't going to post it, but did because there are a few good trichome shots in there.

I plan on doing a dry weight on the ditch weed. It will be the first time I will have ever weighed a harvest in all of my years of growing, lol.

Just Curious why weigh now? Are people more curious or more systematic approach from you? I'm nosey!

I'm going to be doing some heavy testing soon on lights and other things. I don't know what I've ever pulled in really, like gm/watt. So I'm going to start keeping track. Also, it will be hard for me because I usually smoke it during the dry, and I smoke up a lot of weight, lol.
