So I've been growing in soil for a few years, had a few successful dwc runs. Now I'm thinking of dabbling in some aero after seeing my buddies success. I would like an aero flo but the dimensions don't fit my space well and I want multiple resivoirs for different cycles in nutes . My room is 6x5. I'm thinking about getting 7 of the 14 gallon totes. Setting up each one with its own pump and aero setup. Putting 6 plants in each tote. Keeping a small tent with a mother or two with room for a tote also. Keep in 6 totes in flowering a week or two apart so I can have a small 6 plant harvest every two weeks. Take clones off mothers clone them in the tote so there is never any transplanting. Veg for a week after I see good roots. Is it going to be too hard to keep up with the rez changes and watering? Do you see any problems? I'm going to have a few different lights so the uneven canopy shouldn't really be a problem I don't think. Does anyone forsee any problems?

Just remember "Keep It Super Simple" and you shall grow well. Might be easier to use a rail set up, if you stay in the tote you can risk clogging your pump with roots.

Yes I read the first 10 pages learned a bunch. I didn't see the plans or different setups. I'll have to skim through it. I was hoping to use the tubs just because they were more ideal for my space. I'll have to look into the rail systems a bit more

I know there a shit ton to read there but it's worth it it. Somewhere in there there is a single tub and then towards the end something called the oregon special which is just a smaller rail system. You should look at the vegging unit, it's 2 18gal totes stacked, the bottom is the res the top is just the roots/air chamber. The plans are for 16-18 plants per, but if you did just 6 per you could run it the whole cycle. Here's a PDF of the systems, but read the thread, he's made a few updates since this was drawn up.
