Perpetual Grow - rLemon OG, Tang Dream, Liberty Haze, Sour D, AK, Kosher+ more

So this isn't exactly my first grow, but I'm still figuring stuff out all the time. Here's my set up

Lights: 4000w Raptor8 hps (only use 2600w, get's to warm at 4000)
Medium: Promix BX
Fertilizers: Biotanicare Pure-Blend Pro line+ additives, Some advanced nutrient supplements

So me and my pops got a medical card, and started growing some decent killer. We started with some Afghan Kush, Permafrost, White widow, Cheese, and Strawberry's and Cream, also some mystery LSD. All in all it went well and we averaged 4 oz's or first crop. All were given to us from some awesome friends and they were all legit.

My father died, and now I'm left with this set-up. I pretty much taught him, so it wasn't that big of change except now it was me doing all the work. This would be our 4th cycle and he died at the end of the 3rd.

Grow wise, it's been going great. We always wanted to order some beans, so I said, "Fuck it, why not". Let's say I developed quite the collection.

Current grow has about 24 plants, all diffenet ages. In the flower room I have.

Flower: Lemon OG Kush (DNA), Sour Diesel (?), Afghan Kush (?), Liberty Haze (Barn), Tang Dream (Barn), Jamaican Dream (Eva), Cheese (?) Tootie Fruity (?)

Hey I was wondering about your feeding schedule and mixture with the promix bx. What else do you mix in, and how often do you feed and water? I've used foxfarm nutes in the past and basically just followed the hydro feeding schedule with slight grow specific modifications. Mostly just wondering about the beginning of your grow, and how the plants get started off. Just germinating 5 feminized master kush (nirvana) seeds and about to put them into a mixture of 3 parts promix bx and 1 part perlite. Like I said I have foxfarm nutes, and would plan on feeding right from the beginning once the seedlings have sprouted? With

I don't mix anything in with my promix BX. I really like the consistency. It compresses down, but never like dirt. Water always easily passes through. It almost becomes a compressed moss sponge. It really helps because it absorbs evenly.

And on feeding, I usually feed feed water, but sometimes feed water. I just try to look at them and see what they're saying. I'd be even more careful with Fox Farm, as it seems to be a bit stronger from what I have observed. Biotanicare is really mild, and they love it and it hardly burns. What I would recommend is to watch for salt build up half way through the flowering. I seem to get it with some strains and haven't really figured out how to deal. Currently once I notice it to start burning I water it heavy once and then maybe a nother time, usually kicks it out of build up.

With seedlings, I just water unless it looks hungry, I've had several seedlings look hungry with only 2-4 leaves. The stem is all purple, like it is deficient.

thanks for the reply. Yeah a good water once or twice in the middle with lots of drainage sounds like it fights the salt builtup. I've read some things about PH being low, but also see people saying that promix bx comes PH balanced and there's no need to add lime or anything to bring it up. I guess I'll just do some measuring once things get going and adjust from there.

PH wise no real issues. I just make it about 6.2-6.4 and it seems to be perfect. Now if you need to fine tune it for picky plants that's another story. It does have dolomite lime in it, it says right on it, which makes it want to go back to 6.5-7

Just harvested the afghan. This stuff always impresses me. It always looks so tasty (and is). It also looks like there's 1 ounce on the plant, but when it's dry it's usually 4. Enjoy the bud porn.
