Personal experience with Black Kow?

I've been using this in my vegetable garden for years and wondering if anyone ever uses this for their greenery grows. I think I may mix some in with my next grow. I can't really see any negatives to using it.b1d399a1-4fef-45e7-9524-670a50d01976_1000.jpg 138909008-analysis_left.jpg

I saw Home Depot had it but don't know if it's a nation wide deal. I'm "guessing" it's a local/area thing but I'll try to find it out here in NV anyway. Looks like a good additive to my hot soil mixture.

edit: Yeah, I thought so, not a bag a 100 miles from me.

Oh really, I guess maybe it is local. We have it everywhere around here. That sucks b/c its cheap as hell and I've used it for years. Their website actually has somebody in a video growing tomatoes directly in the bag..She just sprinkled some epsom salt around it and planted it in the bag LoL.

The stuff seems good to me. I recently used this year on my outdoor plants because they were looking semi green and a tad lime so I topped dressed all around with this stuff and a couple weeks latter a more uniform and darker green was noticed on my plants. I will continue to use it or any brand as long as it says its COW manure and at the bottom of the bag it does say that. Beware of other companies that only list a product as Manure because most likely it is processed human waste, at least as far as I am aware. So bottom line if it says COW manure then its good and Black Kow says its Cow manure.

The bag I just got of Black Kow says: Total Nitrogen 0.5%, Soluble Potash 0.5%, and Chlorine 1.0% or less, No Iron or Zink was listed.

Using black low to repot my plant. It was in some dense soil that didn’t have much drainage. Should I mix the black kow with something else?

At the very least, peat moss and perlite. Search for 'compost, perlite and peat moss ratios' and find something that suits your needs. Good luck!
