You guys all realize that you are helping me quit smoking? i recently started rolling my own cigs for the obvious reasons, money and practice. And you guys keep me typing so darn much that i don't have time to roll a cig! LOL!

I don't know, I find it more pleasurable when people can tell that I am joking with them without being so direct. being subtle is key

There is. Be concise, fluent, accurate, and thoughtful of your typing. If one doesn't even take the time to put a few words together into an accurate, concise, opinion, he must not feel TOO strongly on the issue.

And this is why like budlover states, i try to use correct terminology when i can. Poplar would have us think that this could never ever happen but surprise surprise it does. I mean it's hardly rocket science to type your language, and as said, the difference in "one" and "you" is huge, i use these terms often for the very reason that they change the message so greatly, from a point of view to a direct insult. When i say this though, it's not to say i go around berating every spelling or grammar mistake i see, often enough i can work out what is being said.

As backwards as it makes me, that is one instance where emotions almost get the better of me, when people ignore a point you've made and just reply with "i don't even know what the fuck you're trying t say" etc because you got a couple of letters back to front, that is always a clear sign of someone being negative just for the sake of it, on those occasions though i point out how obvious the true meaning was, tell them the true meaning and continue waiting for the reply, normally not forthcoming. I try but i' still only human, like all of you. I just cannot see any logical reasoning to it though, being given the ability to swear at trolls is hugely counter productive and just plays straight into their hands.

And might i add that this has been 11+ pages of good, logical, rational debate. Do we have a solution yet that we ALL agree on? No. Will we? No.

BUT, we can all agree that SOMETHING needs to be done. And we are at least STARTING to do that. And for that RIU, THANK YOU!

On a more personal note. @poplars: Thank you very much for toning back your enthusiasm just a hair. I'm sure we all appreciate it.

DAMN! I thought you were coming back to us! I agree that whoever signed your name to the petition is a douche, I mean that's just disrespectful. Guys, if ONE (;-)) is going to agree to the petition don't forge other member's names, have some respect for not only everyone else, but ONEself (;-)).
