No. The point of the petition and what I believe most are trying to say, is why care about trolls in a Tolk-n-Talk forum? As long as the trolling does not spill out into the 'real' forum where people come to learn how to grow pot, who cares what trolls do? Seriously, what the fuck is the point?
I troll certain threads because I feel they deserve it. Certain people also deserve being trolled, and I am happy to do that as well. I get trolled, some of my threads get trolled, but I keep living... You fucking pussies need to get your fucking panties from between your twats and stop crying, serious, shut the fuck up. Damnit, I go to sleep and StonedPony comes out to play real quick. I agree with see4 in some parts. I came to RIU to initially learn how to grow and after researching plenty before I popped my seeds, I found that RIU was the most helpful and the best forum I had checked out. I still use the growing forums for advice and like to look around and everything, though I don't contribute too much because I am just a rookie and don't want to act like I suddenly know all the growing tips after not even one full harvest.
I like to come onto Toke N Talk to do exactly that, toke and then talk with some guys that are high as well. Sometimes my conversations are productive, sometimes I do decide to act like a troll, mainly just so I can get a rise from the "trolls" that hate them so much and turn them into trolls, it's very entertaining while I am high, I am the kind of guy that likes to calmly get people worked up, as I know that when I am mad and see someone being polite and calm, it almost makes me more mad haha.
Is this thread a good example of how to not troll? Nope, it sure isn't, in fact it is almost a thread pointing out on how to be a troll in all sorts of different ways. Technically we are all trolling each other in this thread and, in my opinion, it's actually been some "good" trolling (minus a couple of guys that have posted) yeah we bicker back and forth and we may even call each other names, but for the most part all of us have just moved on to the next conversation...err..."disagreement."
Toke N Talk should be changed to Toke N Troll, many of the people here I would think are like me and "trolling" certain threads just to annoy those people that do get so worked up like olylifter, or poplars, or whoever it may be. Am I saying it is right, again, nope, but I am telling you right now that it's gave me some good laughs and entertained me while I was bored.

The point I'm trying to make is that there is no problem. Only that the moderators make it a problem. So in this argument, yes, having the moderators back off a little would fix 'the problem'. -- The problem lies with a few pansies that take shit too personally and feel the need to rat people out -- the way to fix that is to make everyone aware the Tolk-N-Talk is an open space for people to converse, and there will be trolls.. deal with it. -- And not to tighten down on moderation.
A good analogy to this would be the war on drugs. The US is tightening its clamp on marijuana, yet marijuana is more prevalent than ever. Just as it is here.. some mods are tightening down, yet trolling is more prevalent than ever. The solution? Fucking chillax a bit.. let nature run its course.. people will begin to chill, other members will learn to deal with the trolls.

I couldn't have put it any better myself. Notice that since this thread hasn't been drowned in infractions and "rules" from mods it's been just fine? People have been able to handle themselves and deal with the "disagreements" that have happened throught the fucking novel this thread has turned into.

Sorry dude, but trolling is subjective to the person reading the comment. And yes, I'm asking the mod's to lighten up a bit, and no I'm not asking them to change the rules. I agree that if someone is blatantly harassing someone, something needs to be done. But if people are picking on each other or having little flame wars... let it be. Or find other ways to moderate it.. for example, instead of handing out infractions, why not simply delete the posts?
But I guess for you, it's ok to live inside a box someone provides you. Never take risks kinda guy huh? That's cool too, but don't push shit on me because you live a certain lifestyle that I don't happen to follow.
