Petroleum in Primary School; industrial strength ethics violation

This is a well funded propaganda campaign designed to influence Americans to be more positive towards the petroleum industry and gloss over its problems and threats to health, safety and the environment.

And they're doing it while while state governments are cutting public school funding to give more tax breaks to oil companies.
 
Industry=money, and the whole government is for sale. Unless citizens come up with a way to out-lobby industries, it won't change.

I guess taxes aren't considered contributions, since they aren't really voluntary.

Taxes used to be seen as honorable and patriotic contributions to the society that helped business and individuals prosper. The notion that government is an inherently bad way to provide public goods came more recently and has been a very convenient excuse for those who want to keep what 'they' make- no acknowledgement of the fact that no one makes a fortune alone- without supporting the country and people who made it possible.

This attitude is simple selfish greed and should be treated as the crime against society that it is.

We're not talking about me. I replied to a post where YOU stated some things as fact. I am asking you where you got your info. I even broke it all down.
