Pets eating pot plants

I was just curious if anyone else's pets eat their pot plants like they're candy? My one cat tries to sneak in the grow closet anytime the opportunity arises and just starts munching away on leaves. He doesn't care if the leaves are dead and crunchy on the floor or still on the plant, but he loves that shit. Fortunately my cats are indoor only and up-to-date on their advantage so the risk for secondary pest infestation is minimal. Seeing as I grow hydro, I'm hoping that the nutes in the plants won't make him sick. So far no problems though.

I have two cats a 5 year old fat cat and a kitten about 3 months old, the big one i have nothing to worry about she dosnt try get in the closet at all

but the kitten oohhh man, she actually broke the biggest plant i had in my last grow in half playing in the garden.... but shes a kitten, what am i supposed to do lol

see here is here getting into trouble the day before she broke it the other one in half

she dosnt eat the leaves tho, just smells em

and yesterday i caught her in my baggy and i scared her and she turned around with a bud in her mouth and looked at me all innocent and then dropped the bud and meowed lmao it was so funny i wish i coulda gotten it on tape

haha first one looks like shes sayin "ey this ones mine!" and in the second one..shes just helpin check the nutes and soil ..." lol funnny asss pets!:mrgreen:

Yeah, my 1st grow attempt here a week and a half ago got turned into catnip at 2 weeks old :(

Jynx here is the grow-op ninja.I hafta keep my eye on her at all times when my tent is open.I got her catnip and she wont even touch it like its bammer.....lolz.Its good to know she is not alone ;)

My 8 month Old Tabby ate 4 new seedlings out of 10 I grew. But recently died after eating common garden plants probily morning glories. One day of throwing up and then quick sudden death... He was a cool cat I miss him AUGUST 1st. waiting awhile before I get another kitten/cat.

thx fuff......its my first one.i think ill just leave her here dedicated to all the RIU'ers as a "toke"-en of my appreciation for all the excellent information.

sloan....im sorry to hear that and feel for you.jynx is basically my only and bestest friend and would kill me if i lost her.there are so many toxic plants out there,its a good idea to identify and know the plants around you that are.good luck in getting a new friend.
