Any way i really do not know how those things work... If i remember correctly that gathering i went to was on PART of a reservation that we were allowed to use... Therefore no police were allowed inside... Maybe it is my imagination making things up...

It was not like just a few years ago... More Like 10 to 15 years... Closer to 10...

You are right about state law enforcement, a reservation is not in their jurisdiction. If the Fed's ever caught wind of The Native Americans just handing out peyote it could put a dent in their whole way of life.

Do you mind me asking what year you went? Maybe this is the reason they hold it their now, because they kept getting busted in the forest

Shut up!!! Are you serious? Thats kinda funny. I would never have thought to look there, not that I would now but I used to do stuff like this when I was younger.

I liked peyote and 'shrooms the best but wouldn't do them now. Doing weed is enough now.

there's plenty of places that you can find Peyote, you just have to know what to look for. If you're going to a florist or nursery, look for Lophophora williamsii, you'll most likely find a two or three year old one somewhere.

I really have no clue what year it was... Im still racking my brain trying to figure out how old i was... The order of events around that time are kindof out of proportion... Lets try between 11-13 years ago... Thats really as close as i can guess without getting brain dammage from picking through my fragile memory... =]

It was definitely in the New Mexico Desert... So if there is a record of the locations during those years i would know it if i saw the name...

Also it was just before the last Dead tour before Gerry died... There was this kid there that was trying to get me to ditch my friends and go with him on this bus to hook up with the tour, mostly cuz i lost them for a short while, big ass place and i wondered off...

I do really wish i had gone down that path... =]

I just couldent bring myself to ditch them without them knowing where i was or what happened to me... By the time i found them i lost the kid... He told me where to find the bus but at that point i just wanted to get in the car and go home... The trip had lost its appeal once i had found my friends...

I still wish i would have went to look for that bus and went tho...

So i ended up driving back with my friends and a friend of hers who was freaking out on acid and would not stop talking freaked out, nonsense the whole way back home... =]

I think it would be fun to go to another sometime soon... But hearing about arrests at a gathering is evil... =[

Theres a seed camp in mexico right now and every year in july over the 4th theres nationals next one is gonna be in like montana or missouri they have picked the state but scouting will happen in a few months go to welcomehere.org for info on where the family is goin to be nothing better then coming home I hope you find a gathering soon!
