never really bothered with the ph thing, but if i had i would gladly give it to youIf you have any plain ole PH Down hanging around that you dont need anymore can I have it?
Well thanks anyway pal.never really bothered with the ph thing, but if i had i would gladly give it to you
i use proguard potassium silicate, and heard it raises ph but never seen it. it maybe moves my 75 gallon tub 0.2-0.3 up, how much do you use?Silica for up
Shit I use anyway......
limes good for keeping ph of soil at 7, but wouldnt think its ability to change water ph is very good, or even its ability to disolve in the water, it will take contant stiring and shaking to get it to disolve. would be much easier to add lime to the soil/soiless mix in the begining, and not pay attention to water ph (not advising, just saying) lime in water= waste of time.BTW, in soil or mixes, lime IS the natural way. Ask any gardener or farmer. In hydro and such, citric acid works way better than lemon juice.
