pH and EC both dropping

One of my plant has been gulping down nutrients (water changing from red to clear). The EC dropped from 1.0 to below .8 pretty much over 24 hours. pH dropped from about 6.0 to 5.4 in the same time. She is under a 300W LED inside a 2 gal bucket that I replace about every two days (filled to approx 1.5 gal of liquid) and is 23 days old (above ground). I am currently on my "transition" nute schedule for the Flora Trio with 2.5/2.5/2.5 mL/gal for Gro/Micro/Bloom, respectively. I was planning on upping my EC, but I had some slightly yellow-tipped leaves popping up and suspected early nutrient burn, so I diluted my nute ratio down to an EC of 1.0 (prior to the above referenced EC/pH drop).

Not looking for set-up changes or equipment recommendations right now.. mainly looking for insight as to how I should be interpreting my plant's behavior.

Thanks

1 to 0.8 is fine i think per day. you sure you don't have any root rot issues for the pH drop? if not, don't worry about it, you're water volume is so small that pH changes cant' be helped.

I had early signs of root rot around week 2, but have implemented hydroguard and a stronger pump, both of which have done wonders for my roots. I should also note that my other plant (different genetics) does not show the same trends; its EC and pH are much more consistent.

Whenever I saw big EC drops like that during transition, my PH was sure to be doing something similar.
Like RKY said, if you dont have root problems just manage your PH best you can for now.
In my uneducated mind, when I saw big PH DROPS I figured the plant was just using more P,K.

make sure that the hydroguard is getting into every nook and cranny.

and if you are in the US, buy Southern Ag GArden Friendly Fungicide. same as hydroguard but a million X more concentrated

Yea the hydroguard comes in a liquid solution and I mix it with the rest of my nutes, so roots are 100% exposed. The roots feel very prickly / sturdy, if I am describing that accurately (no good antonyms for slimy lol)
