Ph and ppm testers?

I'm currently using the drop ph tests and wondering about good ph ppm testers. would this cheap one do until I find a decent one?

Ph testers and PPM testes are two different things...
You want to use BOTH the Ph drop test AND the TDS PPM meter... as they show you different things...
the cheap PPM testers are great...I got mine on amazon for $15 and I test my own drinking water with it just for fun now.
The PPM meter will show you "Total Dissolved Solids" count in your water... good for testing runoff and nute feed.

a nice waterproof Ph tester will cost you about $60....that will get you away from the drop test...
but not the same as a PPM meter...even though they can look alike...
