ph Confused... Not a Problem, but Confused

What is going on here?? The images of ph seen here have been happening for a while now. My water starts green, I ph down to brown, then my runoff keeps going orange or red... and the plants look healthy! This array of ph colors has been consistently happening with all my waterings over the past few weeks and I'm finally asking why? My digital ph and ppm meter both have dead batteries so this is the only info I have but I have only been watering, no nutes for over two weeks (and even when I did add nutes, it was FF veg nuts at 1/3 strength).

Here's all the info...

FFOF soil mixed with perlite
3-gallon fabric pots
Amnesia Kush (and Remo Chemo) seeds
1 week from switching to flower
Water with filtered and rested tap water (my tap water is 180ppm)
Water every 3 to 5 days

My question is, why is my runoff showing such low ph? Is this ok? The plants seem happy. The single plant in the picture is Amnesia Kush and it's the one just watered with the ph jars shown. The leaves are a little droopy because I've been leaving these girls to dryout a little more than I have in past grows so this girl was thirsty and just watered. The other pic showing two plants (Remo Chemo and Amnesia Kush) are just shown as they seem healthy as well, and both of those plants show similar ph runoff (again, green is my stock tap water, I ph down to brown, then get orange or even red runoff). Should I shutup and just keep going or is my runoff ph too low? What is going on here?

Disregard runoff pH unless you have some serious issues. The age of the soil and a number of things can affect runoff pH. Actually if your feed is coming in around 7, I wouldn't even worry about pHing the solution. You're using organic soil and organic nutes, there's no need. Less is more, don't over love em.

i agree with max, run off ph in soil is about the most useless way to test the health of your plants, and usually just ends up having growers chasing their tales, or worse yet, creating problems where there was none previously..
keep it simple.. they look nice and healthy, just continue doing what you've been doing up till this point, minus the ph testing of the run off..
