Turned out to be something in the water butafter a cheap run through a britta filter everythign has been good. PH rise over time is normal, but i dont think it should need to be adjusted every day. I mix mine to 5.5 PH after adding nutes, then when i do the water change it will creep up a little, why i shoot low. It ends up at 5.8 and over a 3-4 day period it will go up to 6.1-6.2. I have some very low water i mix, ph3.3 or so, and add it to the res to make it go at least a week before i do a change.
I am hoping this will get better with time and it appears to be so far.
Try a cheap filter, beats spending $$ every week for water.
