PH fluctuations..... HelpppHelppp

[ATTAll]3609790[/ATTACH] Okay so I was having pretty sweet grow in veg until trying to fix what wasn't broken lol....was using fox farm grow big and a little big bloom for my dwc hydro grow at the time. Thought I saw calcium/magnesium def. so I switched to botanicare pure blend pro along with a little open sesame (to prepare for flower), sweet, big bloom, general hydroponics root stimulator, armor si(silica), and lastly canna cannazym(just got out of algae prob so I used it 4 the dead roots).I kno that's a heep of products but just wanted to use every one of em 4 a certain purpose....but I feel like the open sesame or silica fucked up my plant bad because their pH manipulation. I dropped the pH dwn to 5.5 but came back to see plants looking over watered in some hours and pH rose to 6.4 somehow(think it was combo of silica and o.s. but anyway here the pics..the first two pics are a day after nutes the next three is the pics before I added all those nutes, the last three pics are a few hours after nutes

Sorry the pics order is all screwed up but u can tell which ones which off my description hopefully

KISS is the best thing I could tell ya man. All those products really make it hard to tell what's going on. It sounds like you are fairly new with dwc(not in a bad way, i am new as well, only a couple grows under my belt). I'd say start simple and build up to new shit, that way you have a better understanding of what's causing what.

My personal diagnosis if this was my plant would be to first understand it's feeding. Do you have a hold on that and measure your EC to know if you are too high or low? In my experience I have seen harsh PH fluctations due to over or under feeding.

Other questions: Have you grown in this setup before?
You said you had an algea problem? Is your res tank not opaque? What is yout average res temp?

Sounds and looks like overfeeding leading to lockup to me.
Maybe flush and go back to feeding a diluted solution to start off. Good luck,hate to see plants sick.

yes i am new to this and my tank is clear but i covered it with dark camo ducktape and my ph reader said 5.6 but after a couple of hours i check again and it was 6.4 i guess because overfeeding

okay but how do i flush in dwc? just change the water thats in there with fresh water and less nutes right?

Yes. Measure your EC when you apply nutes and a few days after nute application/after your plant has drank a bit of water. If EC rises it is too much nutes, if it lowers it is too little. Find the sweet spot of little to no fluctuation, i prefer a little drop fluctuation rather than a little raise.

I grow in soil so I cannot say what the precise procedure would be for flushing in dwc is,but generally speaking it seems to be the same. Check some other forums to see what the proper technique for flushing dwc is. good luck!

You said they were doing good until you changed things up and then it got all fucked up, right? Very simple solution is to go back to what was working.

You should stick with the FF trio and cannazyme. Learn the plant and how things work. Read read read! Then after you've got that down you can add one of those products in small doses AND at the right time to see how the single additive worked.

You threw a lot of shit at it man... chill out on all that, for real. Also, as other have stated, get a TDS meter and make sure you test how strong your solution is.

ah man thanks seems like good advice im gonna just lay off the other products 4 right now and stick to trio+ cannzym like you suggested.
