PH help please.

Hey all... started my first grow a couple weeks ago and I am starting my
botanicare pure blend grow regime today. My understanding is that I am
suppose to add all my nuts first and then check my PH. So this is what I
did and for some reason I can't get my PH to go up.

I'm using a color chart/drip checking setup until I get a digital meter. I
have added at least 10 drops of PH UP... 2 drops at a time. Each time I
add 2 drops I check it and each time I see no color change. I am using
Botanicare pure blend pro grow, liquid karma, and cal-mag.

Should I simply keep adding PH UP till I see a change or am I making a
mistake somewhere/somehow?

Any help would be very much appreciated as I have to water my little
babies soon.

are you using the ph drops that came with the chart to make the pH go up?
cause it sounds like that...

If not.... if you droppin pH up in there it should be going up.
Does it say Ph up?

Yes I have PH up and down that I bought specificly for the task of leveling my PH.

Each time I add a couple drops I put the cap on the 1 gallon jug and shake the piss out of it to make sure its mixed very well.

Yea I been balancing my ph for a couple weeks now so this is not making any since at all.

Maybe the problem is that I am adding my nuts first? Should I PH adjust and then add nuts?

The color was orange/red when I started PH upping and after about 8 drops I seen no change. I'm baffled...

Is it possible that the nuts dropped my PH that much?

my Ph rises when i as I nutes.
you must need to add more.
are these the GH pH up n pH down if so you need more than a couple drops.
cause doin alot of drops n shit can be stressful and seem you arent getting pH change from it..

First let me say thanks ALOT for the help bud... hope to return the favor some day.

Yes I am using GH up and down... to be exact this is what I'm using:

Hydrofarm - General Hydroponics GH1514 pH Control Kit#

Took damn near 20 drops to get the PH in the green to 6.5. Something just don't feel or seem right about that.

Oh ite i get that ph up n down.
i didnt know they had instructions for them other than use sparingly .
and thats what i do use sparingly.
try a lil less than a capfull.

are you in soil?

Yep I'm in soil... trying to go Organic and keep it this way. Currently
trying to get them to a point where I can take clones... jerk the males
and pick my mothers. Once I get to this point I'm considering organic
hydro using smart pots in a flood system, setup in a colisium format with
lights hanging in the center so I can use my lighting in the most effecient
mannter possible. I've seen some fantastic results using this method along
with a killer recipe. Trying to use several of the very best methods I've
seen together in one setup. I have alot of space... the perfect setup for a
somewhat large grow. Ahh errrm... but to anwere you question... yep I'm
currently in soil.
