2x600 hps
70-80 degrees
30% humidity
fox farm ocean forest
Month into flower

1/2 dose of:
silica blast
liquid karma
cal-mag
pro bloom

Tap Water PH'd to 6.5-6.8
Runoff PH 5.5

I suspect this is a PH issue but not positive. The runoff ph is 5.5 ish. About a month ago top dressed the soil with lime but apparently it hasn't made much of a difference. I suspect the strain is unstable as well. I grew these from hermie seeds and it looks like I'm growing 5 different strains. Many of the plants have different characteristics. (strange)

each seed has it's own pheno type. It's not that odd. It's a bag seed, it's not a seed that's been breed over generations singling out specific pheno types lol. If your run off is coming out at 5.5 it sounds like you might have over done it with the lime.

thanks for the response..

Lime is supposed to raise your ph not lower it
True.

Did you add enough? Kinda hard to over apply, but easy enough to UNDER apply and having little effect on pH.

*I* use 2tbl/gallon of mix, or 1 cup/cf of mix.

How much did you add and when?

i doubt that you have a ph problem, some of the pics looked like you were over fertilizing them.

I top dressed the plants with about 2tbl around a month ago...should I go ahead and add more?

Are you also using ocean forest?

No, I make my own mix.

Those 'claw' leaves look to be nute burn. FFOF is a hot soil all by itself.

If you added 2tbl/gal, I would wait just a bit and only water for a week or 2. No more liquid cal/mag. That might be a bit much on top of what's in the soil and could cause lock out.

isn't ocean forest only "hot" for a month? These plants are several months old
Have they been in the same mix for those several months? Or, did they get up canned along the way with fresh mix?

Some of those pics show the *excess N* claw.

That's why I was suggesting water only for a week or 2. Fix one thing at the time.

they had been transplanted into a new mix a little over a month ago I believe...might have been longer

I think you're right about the Nitrogen claw...I've since flushed those plants. It's odd because some have been affected way more than others. I would think giving them all the same nutrients, etc they would be uniform.
