if you had 1 tbsp of garden lime to your soil and mix well, then plant, pH will buffer between 6.2-6.8, so you wont have to worry to much about testing soil pH... if you do pH your water, just keep it between 6.0-7.0 and the buffer will do the rest. You can use lime juice to lower the pH or baking soda to increase it.Hello Rollitup!!
I need to ask some questions for my girls.
1.What should be my solution's ph before giving to soil?
2.Can i test my soil's ph with digital ph meter? And How?
yes just water with plain ph'ed water and catch the run off of the soil, then test. Thanks for your reply..By the way lets say i want to test my ph of my soil with water should it be plain water?(with out nutes?)Lets say yes but what should be the water's ph before adding water to the soil? For the test.
let the tail chasing begin...........So, if i used distilled water (7ph) and the run off came out to 6.3. Should i leave my nute solution alone or ph up to 7.5ish so it would make my runoff 6.8?
