Plants Outside, Generic potting soil. Added Nitrogen yesterday, leafs look worse today

Is that two plants in one container? Ill-advised. Stop adding nutrients for a while it looks like they're starting to burn.

Yes. It's probably not pH, but it's possible. I'd guess nutrient burn either. What nutrients and how much of them you're using ? And how often ?
