lol i hear you say :)


i use ph strips all the time and can measure to the .5 which is all you need really .

they never need calibrating and the batteries never die .... Much more reliable :)

their dirt cheap and you can roll them up when in need for a roach :)


pens can measure to the .1 but im willing to bet side by side tests of different pens all read different in the same solution :)

your ph has to be way out anyway to be a problem , and i think the difference between .1 and .3 ain't going to do any difference to the plant imo .

this is my argument for the humble ph strips :)

Yea i bought a pin not realy Researching it much. now it seems like more of a hassel then the drops. havent used strips.

buy hanna, ph pen and ppm last long if you dont drop it in water. Strips measure alkalinity too though so I like them as well. Both

The only problem I have with the strips; is that the "water run-off" is already colored a ,kind of, tea color. I always used to wonder "How is that "pre-colored" solution going to affect the final reading? I still wonder about that.
