PH Problem

I'm having problems with my PH and was wondering if anyone might have an idea about why that is. I'm growing in plain coco, PH buffered to 6.0 before I even put plants in it. Nutrient line is Hesi TNT (Grow), Hesi Coco (Bloom), Hygrozyme, and CalMagPlus. I water once a day...feed,water,feed,water,etc.

Every time I water, I PH exactly to 6.0...whether it's plain water or my nutrient solution. For the past couple weeks, the runoff always comes out a lot lower (around 5.0) than what I'm putting in whenever I feed. So the next day, when I use plain water, I'll flush until it comes out 6.0, and the next time I feed, it does the same exact thing.

At first I thought it was my meter, so I went out and bought a new one just in case...same exact readings. The plants are starting to show signs of lockout on their bottom leaves now, and I'd like to figure this out before the problem spreads. Thanks for any help you guys may have for me.

Don't panic about the run off,too much can be taken from doing everything the so called good growers do.Has long has your plants look good then everthing will be fine........................tyke...................................................

i use hesi and coco................your ph wants to be varied between 5.5 and 6.............dont feed water in between feeds and let go dry a bit in early days to develope the roots.....

I don't grow in coco, I'm in hydroton, so take this as a disclaimer. But was this in Hydroton I would say that you are not watering often enough in order to maintain your ph in your medium, especially if you are running your feed water on the 'hot' side. (too strong). As the plant uses up more of the water then the nutes the ph in the medium has to raise since the ec in the medium is concentrating. Solution in hydroton is to increase the watering duration as well as the watering intervals. If you can't do that in coco you will have to reduce your ec strength.

Ph dropping could also be a sign of root rot if you are overwatering Ph goes up typically when they are eating if it keeps crashing it may be overwatering

If I let them go a day without any water, they're too dry by the next day, so should I be feeding every day? I did that for the first month and a half, just at lower concentrations...and now that I think about it, there wasn't any problems until I started mixing feed,water,feed,water.

yeah mate ive never given mine just water and my plants get real fat................if it aint broken dont try and fix it......
