Hey guys, so I finally decided to fork out the cash (seems like all ive been doing lately) for a ph meter because my plants all have slowed in growth dramastically and have begun showing signs of some nute burn but I havent nuted..anyways I bought a ph meter figuring ill give it a shot maybe Im off a bit my strips were saying ph was 6.5ish well boy was I wrong, I used the ph meter and I am at 7.7 for my watering so im sure the soil is quite bad as well..anyways my question is simple...I want to get the ph down to 6.3 I do believe? and I will use ph down for that but should I gradually move it down or go from 7.7 to 6.3 and do a flush with 6.3 water till the run off is the same? how do I go about doing this..

flush that thing asap, drop the ph down even futher than that, most of my plants are watered with 5.8. getting a ph meter was the best thing i ever did, i keep the ph down pretty low to avoid a lot of problems

I would get the ph down completely all in one shot, flush that thing! The only I gradually change in increments is nutes. If that ph is off, the plant will thank you for helping it out by producing some fattys for ya! :bigjoint:
