Hey Guys,

Well here is my Question: How do I regulate and Stabelize my pH in a 15 gal bucket. Ive been trieng to look for guids but wasent really satisfied with the things i found.

I really do wanna go through with the Idea of making my own DWC Bubbler but the only intimidating thing is the pH.

Here is some info from my citys water:

pH 7,5
and in the analysis it says its "hard water"

If somebody could guide me through a little and explain to me how to regulate my pH without addind pH+/- every 3 hours i would greatly appreciate it!

It "could" depend on what's in your tap water, but probably not because chlorine will have removed all that.

Keeping your water temp < 72 will help you greatly. Another thing people don't realize is to just stir the bucket and test the PH again, probably it isn't as unstable as you think but maybe temp swings in your room will separate the chemicals, heavier ones will sink and etc.

Now your PH should stay pretty consistent but organics can give you some troubles, this is bad stuff growing in your res if they do. If you will run organics think 65F max water temp.

Lower water temps are better anyway because they have a higher content of dissolved oxygen.

In the end if you are watching your water temps and doing everything right you shouldn't be having issues. If you still are I am willing to bet your op is just too dirty and shit is growing in your bucket.

Hey thank you for your reply!,

I didnt start yet becuase i was to intimidated by the pH thing, so when i add the nutes to the tapwater will it regulate the pH by itself ? I read that canna aqua is pretty good in maintaining pH i just dont know if i can use it for my bubbler becuase it says "recirculating Hydro".

When you first start you will be light on nutrients and you will have to adjust the PH lower. As you get up into the strength you may not have to adjust it anymore the nutrients will be enough to bring the water down.

My water starts at 7.5 - 8 PH even after I pull it through an RO system so I am using this in the theory to help you.
