PH rising Ebb and Flow

Three plants, 15 days old(5 fingers just coming out),unknown Indica strain, rock wool/clay pebble medium, Ebb and Flow irrigation,25L reservoir, still under 2 2' T-5s, and for the nutes I am using Cellmax. Right now they are on there 5th day of feeding with the following strength. 1/8 stength grow 1/4 stength RootBooster. I checked the ph and ec today. It has gone up more than I expected.
Here are the readings when I added nutes and then today, 5 days later.

When I added nutes:

Temp 20°C
EC .82
PH 6.6

Today (5 days later):

Temp 18°
EC .76
PH 7.3

The plants are still growing well and for the most part look healthy. The largest one is slightly yellow but she was like that when before I started nutes.

Is that a normal rise for PH?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

You mean ph spike it went up not down this is normal in ebb and flow this just means your plants are using their nutes.I adjust my ph every 4-5 days. One thing your ph needs to be between 5.8- 6.5.I don't let it rise over 6.3.When I put a fresh batch of nutes I adjust the Ph as low as possible 5.8 4-5 days later I simply adjust the ph and change my res every 2 weeks

Thanks for the input jcdws602, I like to get cut and dry answers.. I corrected the original post to alleviate any confusion on further reads.

I was trying to bring the PH down slowly on them. Original TAP is 7.0-7.4. First nutes brought it to 6.6. I am shooting for 5.5 - 5.9. Is it necessary to slowly bring it down?

Or can I just bring it all the way down with ph down and continue slowly upping the nutes?

OK to drop your ph down to 5.8 (after you add your nutes) check every day and adjust it will balance out after awhile

Yup just bring it down all the way with ph down I kinda don't understand what you mean by slowly bringing it down??, but just add your water I don't check the water ph I just put the nutes in then check ph,bring it down as low as I can and bam thats all

All I use is ebb and flow… The other two are absolutely right about the PH fluctuating, but have you know that as it is optimal to have you PH at 5.8, it is not detrimental. I will go without checking my PH for a week or so, and just add Water to the res. My plants are lush and healthy, and they do fine. This is with it getting to 7.0, or a light green in the test solution. My rule with myself is to keep the PH piss yellow and you’re good. All I am saying is don’t stress the small stuff such as a little PH fluctuation, because nature fluctuates as well.

I am airating my res in my ebb and flow so i slightly adjust daily. i will usually ph it to 5.8 and by the next day its in the 6.1-6.3 range. I think the airstones play havoc with the PH but I think a super airated soup is best imo.

I meant slowly bringing it down as in the way you would slowly introduce nutrients. I was under the impression that it was just as in important to slowly bring the PH to where you want it. I got it now though. I got my EC where I want it and then I got the PH around 5.8. Digi is off so I am using the liquid tester now. BTW I would imagine I could use some sort of substance around the house to calibrate that thing with. Any ideas. Imma' cheap sowmbitch.

Looking just as you said now Cack. Nice and piss yellow. I will adjust in about a week.
I like stressing the small stuff. Really getting into the details and going for perfection is half the fun for me.
