Ph tester calibration help

Bought a digital ph meter today and built a small cloner bucket. They gave me a small bottle of 7.0 buffer solution. Do I mix the buffer solution in water? It has no directions and I'd rather not mess up a nice tester. It's a 1 oz size bottle. Also for the aero cloner should my ph be between 5.8-6.5? Thanks.

Used the 4.0 solution as well. Its calibrated and accurate +/-1 so I can't complain on that. Thanks guys.

All a solution of a known pH does is allow you to test your meter.

You should be able to use it to calibrate the device.

Good luck,
