WOW! I just got done reading the link you left. And yes it makes sense. So do I got this right? Should I just flush about every month. To make sure no trace minerals are clogging the roots. Or is there no need to flush at all? As long as I feed them right. So at the end of harvest. You plant need there nutes. Because there still growing & going through some important changes. So should I just feed them the way I always do, right up to the end. Or should I slowly lower the nutes. But anyways I really dug that article. I wish I had a setup to try the hippie trick. Putting the root underwater the last 10 days to harvest. Thanks for the info. And thanks for just being cool. Some people on here, like to put people down. I'm just here to learn what I can. And improve what I can, with this hobbie of mine.
Thanks, I try to help.
For the real question here.
That would depend on what media your in.
What you feed.
How often you feed and how you feed.
So then, Soil? What soil?
What nutrient - list everything.
How often?
If your in soil and running synthetics, you should be doing this; Water-feed-water-feed-water-feed - etc.
If you do that and you don't over feed. You should NOT need to flush (read as: leech actually) at any time really!
Here is a tip for you.
Do NOT change to "bloom" nutes at the lighting change to flower times. WAIT 2-3 weeks or until the stretch period is over!
The plant is still needing the higher N during this time.....Then maybe use 1/2 Veg and 1/2 Bloom for 2 more weeks, THEN go to 100% bloom nutrient! You won't get the "yellowing" of the plant like many do. They will stay healthier and yield better!
Once you get dialed in, really dialed in.....you'll get it!
