thats not true... I actually stopped PHing using perlite and my results have gotten better.mine is 7.4out of the tap. and if i let it sit overnight it goes up. I did my whole first run in soil with no ph meter like a kook and it worked out fine. As soon as i went to a soilless medium i noticed they dont drink worth a shit if you dont ph. go buy yourself a nice meter before you start your run, it will be a world of difference. i got a hannah meter that just chills in my resi all the time and shows ph and ppm. it was about 200 bucks, well worth it though

that may work for you.. but this guy is having ph problems for sure and i dont think the whole "looks good to me" theory is going to get him the results hes looking for in a 4800w grow. just sayin.i'm not saying that at all...but most nutes have ph buffers where it puts it to the correct ph if ur not over nute'n it... I was always PHing at 5.8-6 for soilless and 6.3-6.6 for soil and after i stoppd phing there hasnt been any problems with too much this or too little that... i fill up a gallon jug 7.0 and add my nutes to it, shake and feed..
