Strain : nirvan northern.lights x5
Soilless: sunshine #4
Nutrients: fox farm trio, fox farm.solubles, silica blast, cal mag, molasses
Temps: 78-82 (lots of air circcirculation)
Lights: 600w x4
7 gal smart.pots

This is at day 27 of flowering, ive been feeding 1 gal of nutrients split into two gals(reason I dilute is so when i water it covers more root area) then a 2 gal water feed next watering then back to feed. i think i need to feed more since the nutes are diluted in 2 gals Instead of one. Last 2 feeds have been been 3tsp tigerbloom, 2 tsp grow big, 3 tsp big bloom, 1/8 tsp Beastie bloomsz, 1 tsp cal, 1 tsp silica as per fox farm schedule in 2 gals. Plants are huge with like atleast 15 tops that look like mains, with a over 20 tops, does this merit more nutrients?

1/5 plants is showing this purpling near the leaves closest to the light. I believe it is actually deficient(not locked out) due.to this plant being in the middle of all the light hoods, therfore needing more.phosphorus because of all the growing. One observable way i determined this is that the plant in question is much more developed (buds) than the other plants, leading me to believe it needs more P. So im thinking instead of a water only, i should feed again? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I dont want.to destroy my first grow. I have attached pics.

Edit: lower growth and leaves do not show sign of nute burn

Overall looks very healthy and that purple may be genetics, so that is the first thing to research. If genetics then it is to be expected and not a reason to increase feedings. I would look for other clues that the plant may be hungry before increasing feed rate. If your leaves had more of a shine and darker color to them and now they are dulling and looking lighter in color, that is usually a strong sign to increase your feed rate.

Good luck finishing them strong, they should be nice!

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it. i wil do some further inspections of the plant(s) to see if there is any signs of deficiency. I hope its just a pretty color change

Did you ever happen to figure it out? Starting 6th week tomorrowI'm having a issue in the same realm. Purple edge on new leaves pineapple chunk clone 2 Weekes veg. But my norther lights is a bit differnt. From seed FIM about 4 weeks veg. Purple centers and viens of leaves and stems and lighter green on new growth. Anyways I use same nute solution for both.. maybe need to up a bit morefor the larger plant? Or I'm thinking maybe calcium locking out p.any ideas ?
