Phototropism and moving plants around

I have my plants on a 24/0 timetable and move them indoors for half of the time period. If significant, how do you align the plants in accordance to the sun's rays and the bend of the plant? I have just been "facing" them in the direction of the light.

you need to align the plants on the ancient 32 degree axis line, get a string with a weed leaf attached to one end and sit indian style. Hold the string out in front of your face and let the leaf dangle in the wind, once you have achieved maximum Chi level sing old mcdonald had a farm twice and the leaf will align itself directly on the ancient 32 degree axis line. seriously let your plants get some sleep, thats when the roots do their growing. you would be better with a 18/6 schedule.

haha no but really i would say have a comprmise at least of maybe a 20/4 schedule. plants need dark and i hate hearing people talking abuot 24/0 is best because it's just plain wrong.
in terms of your phototropism question, phototropism is the plants ability to grow toward light and to orient its leaves accordingly. Don't move your plants around just let them do their thing.
Hope this helps. :)

My first grow, 24/0, both males. My second grow, 18/6, both females. Just sayin, cause I can't say because I didn't do more than these grows yet.

I don't think amount of light determines sex. Some people swear by 24-0. I don't. I like giving my plants some dark.

You don't really need to worry about what way you face your plants. They will bend toward the light source until their stem is nice and thick.

I agree. Unless the plants weren't healthy and the 24 hours stressed them further.

And thanks for your answer to my original question. I'm not worried.
